Full Stall Board

Full Pasture Board

Full stall board starting $850 monthly. Includes 14x14 stall with auto waterer, fan, thick bedding, daily turnout, fed twice daily Purina products and coastal hay. Peanut and Alfalfa hay are available but pricing varies depending on feed and hay needs.  All horses are required to have a current negative Coggins, and up to date on vaccinations.

Horse Training

Horse training starting at $1300 monthly. Whether starting a beginner or a tune up for an out of shape horse. Horses coming for training must have had a recent dental floating, hooves trimmed, a current negative Coggins, and up to date on vaccinations.

  • All horses that enter the property must have a current negative coggins and up to date on the following vaccinations to include: West Nile + 2-way Sleeping Sickness + Tet + Flu + Rhino + Rabies
  • Vaccinations and bi-annual vaccinations are required to board with Old Wire Stables and are at the owner's expense administered by a licensed veterinarian or certified veterinarian technician. 
  • Old Wire Stables will make coggins and vaccination appointments upon owner's request. 
  • Old Wire Stables provides and worms all horses using veterinarian recommended wormers at a minimum of every six months at owner's expense. 
  • There are no exceptions outside of a licensed veterinarian's waiver for the above and at the discretion of the stables to accept. 


  • Old Wire Stables is a full board facility.  This means Old Wire Stables provides grain (Purina brand products), and coastal hay. Alfalfa and peanut hay are available for an up charge.  Rates are based on nutritional needs and market value. 


  • Old Wire Stables provides grain and coastal hay included in the full board rates listed above. However, alfalfa, orchard, timothy/alfalfa and peanut hays are available for an up charge based on current market values and delivery fees. 


  • Boarders are not permitted to be involved in the feeding process unless specifically permitted by the owner or barn manager.  This is to ensure continuity and care of each animal and to reduce any confusion of the process. 


  • Old Wire Stables is a Smartpak barn.  All supplements will come from Smartpak unless the item is not specifically sold by smartpak.  There are no exceptions to this rule. 


  • Old Wire Stables provides care to upwards of 30 horses day and night. To cut down on any confusion and to preserve continuity of care for each horse we utilize the Smartpak system.

  • Any horse needing additional care via medications must be approved by the owner or barn manager prior to arrival. 


  • Owner's are welcome to come out and provide medications or medical treatments to their horse. 


  • Medications and medical treatments requiring additional time and care can be provided by Old Wire Stables staff for an additional fee.  


  • Old Wire Stables does have a certified veterinarian technician on staff and available to medically treat wounds and provide special medications.  This service is available but there are associated fees. 


  • Old Wire Stables maintains open and closed hours


  • Old Wire Stables opens at 8:30am and closes at 6:30pm


  • For clients taking their horses off property, Old Wire Stables gates remain operational for them to come and go. 


  • Old Wire Stables is a training and lesson facility


  • The property includes a 60' round pen, large fenced arena and track as amenities for boarders and clients to use


  • However, if trainers/instructors are working with horses or students, boarders are required to seek permission before entering training areas if in use by staff members.  This is for the safety of all clients and horses. 


  • Old Wire Stables has a barn farrier, Mr. Larry Benware with over 23-years of farrier experience to include basic trims, shodding and hot shodding. 


  • Boarders will have the option to include farrier services in their boarding agreement or pay for farrier services separate. 


  • Boarders are welcome to use any farrier of their choosing, however horse owners must make those arrangements in conjunction with arrangements with the barn for outside farrier visits.  


  •  If boarders are not present to hold and maintain their horse for their farrier, Old Wire Stables cannot guarantee personnel will be available. 


  • If an outside farrier is utilized, staff can be made available if prearranged and for a fee.


  • All outside farriers must be approved by Old Wire Stables owners or barn manager. 


  • Old Wire Stables is proud to call Oleno Large Animal and Dr. Natalie Lameck our barn doctor. 


  • Dr. Lamneck has been our trusted barn doc for over five years.  


  • Because Doc is so awesome, she has taken the time to provide excellent training to Charlie over the years to provide basic care until she can arrive should the situation call for the Vet.


  • Boarders are free to utilize any outside veterinarian services however, all appointments must be approved with Old Wire Stables personnel to avoid conflicts or interruptions of daily operations. 


  • Clients must be present for veterinarian appointments to assist the doctor with their horse unless arrangements have been made with Old Wire Stables staff members.
